When we invited award-winning magazine collage artist Giles Davies to create a piece to celebrate Upbeat’s 15th anniversary working with refugees, he was drawn to the incongruous image of desperate people (just about) afloat on the ocean. Titled ‘No Pleasure Cruise’, the ‘passengers’ are made entirely from Cruise brochure cuttings.
Giles has been committed to Upbeat for a number of years in varying capacities and we are so glad to get to work with him again.
Giles has generously agreed to donate all profits to Upbeat.
