Free English classes for refugees.

Upbeat Communities provides free English classes, activities, and lunches for refugees and asylum seekers in Derby — Monday to Friday.

If you are an asylum seeker or refugee in Derby, you are welcome to come along! Our address is: Trinity Baptist Church, Green Lane, Derby, DE1 1RZ.

Please note we will be closed from 24th December 2024—2nd January 2025. We will be open as normal from 3rd January 2025, but then we will be closed 8th-10th January 2025 because our team are away on some training.
