Île Tudy is a presqu'ile (penisula) in southern Finistère about 30 minutes south of Quimper. It is a seaside village and the house is in a cul-de-sac 2 minutes' walk from the large family-friendly sandy beach and 1 minute's walk from the estuary side for beautiful sunsets. It is very popular with Parisians, many of whom have second homes in the village.
There are 3 bedrooms: 2 doubles (1 kingsize) and 1 twin. There is a modern downstairs bathroom with bath and shower and a new open-plan kitchen with a washing machine, dishwasher, fan oven and fridge freezer. The main sitting room with sofas and dining table are all in the same downstairs space.
You would be welcome to negotiate a week with the owners, who will provide all further information and a discount code for a saving on the ferry crossing.

Long Shot is a stripped-back circus performance where the audience is in charge. Using handcrafted remote-control contraptions, tight choreography and laugh out loud humour, PanGottic bring to life one man’s belief in the near impossible, the almost unachievable and the highly unlikely. This show pushes the boundaries of how much risk an audience can bear, or be willing to create, by placing the routine and repetition of a highly skilled juggler in the same room as extreme unpredictability.

Hamilton Sloan is a well-loved and long established traditional Irish artist. His high quality oil and watercolour paintings depict a range of rural landscape and figurative work. Since his first solo exhibition in 1992 he has exhibited regularly in a wide range of well-known galleries throughout the north and south of Ireland.
Some well-known figures who have purchased or been presented with his paintings include Irish politicians Ian Paisley, Bertie Ahern, Seamus Mallon and Albert Reynolds. His paintings have also been purchased and presented to a range of private collectors and Public Bodies in Ireland, the UK, USA, Canada and Japan.
This latest oil painting Oblivion is the first in a series of paintings influenced by the plight of children and refugees caught up in war-torn parts of the world. It serves no political agenda but rather focuses on the child experiencing a moment of sheer joy, oblivious for a moment to the devastation all around them.
